NORTH BRANFORD — When folks think of North Branford, they aren’t likely to picture a booming business center — and Town Manager Michael Paulhus admits there are challenges to growing the economy of a town that does not sit on a major interstate.
But Paulhus, who delivered his State of the Town address at North Branford’s 4th annual business breakfast Tuesday, also emphasized that the municipality is doing everything it can to partner with local businesses.
Those efforts have not gone unnoticed.
In a question-and-answer portion of the program, held after remarks made by David Lehman, who commissions the state Department of Economic and Community Development and spoke primarily about the state and regional economy, one audience member said North Branford was one of the easier municipalities in which to do business.
